Received my Puritans Pride Order Yesterday
As usual it was packed really well. I love, love ordering from them. My son is having loads of fun with the box and packing peanuts too! They are still having their buy 1 get 2 free sale and it is good until the end of September so you still have time to order.
Last night I tried the following to help me sleep (you may have read a previous post about me having severe insomnia) :
SELENIUM 50 mcg.
ANTIHISTAMINE DIPHENHYDRAMINE HCI 25 mg
INSOMNIA RELIEF only took 2 of the recommended 4 tablets
MELATONIN 1 mg
I slept somewhat. Way more than I expected. I woke up about 4 times and was up permanently at 7:30. This is way better than I do even on Ambien. I will try the same mixture tonight and see if it was just a fluke or not. I figure I will do this on the nights where I don't have to work in the morning and use my regular medicine on the nights where I do have to wake up for work. If things progress (knocks on wood) then I will finally be able to say good bye to my usual sleep aid. Yay!! I feel normal today just the usual drowsiness but not real bad and no weird hangover type feelings. So that is good!! Let's hope this works!!

I Received my Eye Glasses Today!!
I was so shocked that I got them so fast. I ordered on the 20th and today on the 29th I received them. They had said that they were shipping them out a little slower than usual because of the sale. Like I said this is a very good company and I highly recommend them. I have been a customer now for probably 7 years. I have had issues sleeping off and on for the last 22 years. About 12 years ago I was prescribed Elavil for it. Then about 4 years later I had a bad reaction to that and another medication I was on and then was prescribed Seroquel (off label use) for my insomnia. Which I have been taking off and on since then. Seroquel has been making the news in the past years because of lawsuits. It is a rather nasty drug and I have definitely been paying the price for taking it. Unfortunately, I do not sleep at all without it. I have tried pretty much everything on the market and nothing works. Some may give me 5 to 10 minutes at a time of sleep but anyone knows that is not enough.
I am at my wits end currently and do not want to take this medicine anymore. But 5 to 10 minutes here and there with some other medicine won't cut it. It will only end me up in the hospital extremely sick (this has already happened before when I stopped taking it because of lack of health insurance). I already have the following from taking the Seroquel :
blurred vision
neuropathy in hands and feet
high cholestrol
dizziness
brain fog
and the list goes on.
But if I stop taking it without finding something else then I will be in the hospital again and that is not an option since I have a toddler and no one to help care for him.
This is where you all come in. Any recommendations? I have tried just about every prescription, over the counter and herbal remedy I can think of. Are you maybe a P.R. for a company who makes/sells a sleep aid? I would love to try something that may help me get some sleep and make me able to stop taking Seroquel.
I currently do not have access to health insurance at the moment so going to the doctor is not an option.

Pampers Points
Here is a list of Pampers Gifts to Grow points. It should give you a total of 534 points. These codes do expire but they seem to last way longer than the Huggies points. It does take a lot of points to redeem something but if you have to buy diapers and wipes you might as well get something back from them. Especially since now the Caregivers Market Place no longer offers cash back on Huggies products. Which is very upsetting! I figure I have close to a year on using Pull Ups maybe less if I get lucky and was looking forward to the 75 cents back per pack.
