Reminder - Toy Story 3 Deal

I am loving these movie deals! O.k. so this one is a hard one. So far there really aren't any great coupons to pair with this deal. This one starts next Sunday.

Buy $25 worth of these products and get Toy Story 3 for $3.99.

Tide $19.97 YIKES! $1 off coupon

Charmin $9.97 again YIKES! .25 cents off coupon

Always $5.97 $2 off coupon still not great

Pantene $3.47 $1 off any 2 coupon

Crest 2 for $5.50 $1 off or a .75 cents off coupon

Nice and Easy $5.97 coupon will be in 10/31 coupon insert

Puffs .97 cents .25 cents off coupon

Duracell $5.97 .75 cents off coupon

Bounty $6.97 .25 cents off coupon

Dawn .97 cents .25 cents off coupon and .50 cents off coupon for the Hand Renewal (so far the best bet but it isn't like you can buy 26 of these!)

I figure I will buy toilet paper (since you always need toilet paper) even though I do not at all like Charmin. I will use the crappy lousy 25 cent off coupon with it. I mean really a 25 cent coupon? Then I will buy as many Dawn Hand Renewals as I have coupons for which so far is 2. I am hoping for at least 4 (I am not a shelf clearer which is EXTREMELY rude).

So that will make my total (pre coupons) to be $9.97 + $3.88 (4x.97) = $13.85 which leaves $11.15 left to spend.

I guess I can add 2 Always for $5.97 each (minus 2 $2 off coupons). Which is $11.94. Which then makes my total $25.79

Now for the coupons :
.25 cents off$2 off (4 - 50cent coupons)$4 off (2 $2 off coupons)
New total = $19.54 OUCH!

Minus ecbs:
$10.00$5.98$1
New Total = $2.56 plus tax.

Then I will go back on Tuesday (movie doesn't come out until Tuesday) and buy the movie for $3.99 plus tax. I am hoping I will get an email for a $off$$ coupon to use towards the above deal to make it better. I would love to be able to save the $5.98 ecb to use towards the movie. Most of the above coupons expire on Sunday so I will have to buy everything (except the movie) then and go back with the coupon (that will print) for the movie on Tuesday when it comes out. I sure hope I have good luck finding the movie. Though the coupon does not expire for 30 days after it prints. So that is good to know.

So for about $6.56 plus tax (not sure if tax will work out to be on pre coupon price - it should- or not and also depending on how the movie rings up).

Toy Story 3 DVD
Charmin 20 roll
2 Always
4 Dawn

So with tax I am thinking less than 10 bucks for all those items. Not too bad. But I have done much better with these dvd deals in the past. Like this one.

Slow Cooker Sunday - Stuffed Peppers

The ingredients. I cheated and cooked the rice first. Was not sure how the rice situation would work. Didn't want to chance it. I normally use minute rice but this time I used Jasmine rice. Which my newer microwave does not cook rice nicely. So I used more water hoping it would not be super dry and almost burnt (but not done) like usual and this time it turned out mushy. :(

The rice and "meat" mixture. I used crumbled tofu but you could use actual meat. Not sure if you would have to cook and brown it first. I would guess so. Add whatever spices you like to this mixture and a little of the tomato sauce or a little tomato paste (which is what I generally use but was out of).

Stuff the peppers like so.

Pour tomato sauce in crockpot saving half the can (at least). I had to really stuff them in there!

Pour remaining sauce on top.

Mmmm.....stuffed peppers!

This has to be one of my absolute favorite meals. And now I don't have to get the kitchen all hot. I will admit it is better with homemade mashed potatoes but I didn't want to heat up my kitchen by using the stove. So I just used the Country Crock ones. Which aren't too bad.

The outcome: no reason to use the oven! These were great minus the mushy rice from the microwave. My son actually ate and liked the rice mixture. I knew there was no way he would eat the pepper part though.

Publix Shoppers! Today (Saturday)

If you have a Publix near you, you might want to dress up your kiddies and take them there today. They are having a fun and safe Halloween thing today from 4 to 7 for kiddies 12 and under.

I plan on taking my son today (I need to pick up a couple of things anyways). I am not sure what they are giving out but I am sure it will be fun. So call your local Publix to see if they are participating and then dress up your kiddies and head to the grocery store!

I will update later when we come back from the store to let you know what my store was handing out. I know when my store had an anniversary they had various characters dressed up and were handing out treats.

They had the Halloween thing last year too but we did not make it. I know that 3 stores I am aware of are doing this so I would think it would probably be all stores.

I am also taking my son trick or treating and I hope it is tomorrow but I have no clue. Do some areas do it the day before it it falls on a Sunday or school night? I am still new to all of this and I have no clue!

An Easy Way to Make A Little Extra Money

The company's name is YouData. They are trying to convince consumers like us that we should be the ones controlling our own data and selling our own attention, not third parties like broadcasters, newspapers, and spammers. By creating a MeFile at YouData.com, I now control what ads I see and when I see them. Best part - I am selling my attention directly to interested advertisers, for real money. That's right, I get paid for giving them my attention. I can use the funds to buy music and video online, donate to charities, give to my favorite blogs and websites, or keep the change myself and do whatever I want with it.

Now you won't get rich of course but you can make a little extra money without doing much at all. Combine that with the other ways I have shown you how to make money and well then it slowly will start to add up. Again you will NOT get rich doing any type of survey or whatnot online. If that were the case we all would be rich! Also remember NEVER ever pay for any info on survey companies or any type of work at home thing.

I actually forgot all about it so I am just starting up again. They pay you via Paypal which I think is monthly but I will have to check on that. Like I said it has been a very long time since I logged in.

Slow Cooker Sunday - Pineapple Upside Down Cake

The ingredients minus the pineapple. Whoops!
I used coconut milk again - but again no difference!

The pineapple! Told you I used pineapple!

With brown sugar on top. Mmm!

Now the batter which I added even more pineapple to!

Then I added more brown sugar.

Then more batter.

Look it does cook in a crock pot!

Really it does!

Here it is all done and yummy!
The outcome: don't use crushed pineapple. Way too much liquid that is too hard to drain off which means the cake won't cook correctly. Though it did taste quite yummy.

Winter Will Be Approaching Before We Know It

It is way to early to be up. I can't sleep so I decided to try and get some posts up for the next week. Blogging is so very time consuming.

I am pretty happy with the Old Navy orders I have placed lately. Unfortunately, I am charging them but the deals are too good to pass up on. Also who knows what will happen in a few months when I need the items. Lord knows my job loves to lay people off.

So far I have ordered the following for myself for this winter:

4 Long Sleeve Waffle T's
1 Frost Free (puffy) Jacket
6 Fleece Pull Overs

I think I am almost set with clothes for this winter. I definitely was not prepared last year. I just need to add some thin t-shirts to wear underneath the pull overs since they are all v neck (I hate v necks) and also buy some warm pjs and some sweats for around the house.

I bought my son's winter stuff last year for this year and I am already started for next year for him.

So far just from Old Navy I have gotten him:

2 Long Sleeve Waffle T's
5 Fleece Pull Overs

And I know I have some other items in a box for that year also. I know I will have to stock up on pants and shoes mainly. Since lots of his shirts from this year will more than likely fit him next year.

I wonder what other sales Old Navy will be having this year? I hope they have some super cheap deals on pants for him (like 5 bucks). I generally shop The Children's Place (online) when they have their sales. You can get stuff for so cheap it isn't even funny. I actually find it cheaper to buy new on clearance then to buy used.

Also make sure you always go through MyPoints first to see if you will get points for your purchases. Which you can redeem for gift certificates for all sorts of places. My favorites are for Target, Walmart, CVS and Walgreens! But they have so many to choose from. I have been a member since 2002!

Zarbee's Cough Syrup $3 off Coupon - Print Now Before They Are Gone!

These coupons will go super fast!! There is going to be an Register Reward Deal on this starting the 24th. Looks like it actually won't start until the 31st. Sorry!! I was misinformed! Print your $3 off coupon now!! Use zipcode 12345 if yours does not work. Mine worked fine and supposably this zip code also works. It will be in the healthcare

It will be on sale for $5.99 with a $6 Register Reward back. So if you use the coupon you will only pay out of pocket $2.99 plus tax if applicable. And then you will get $6RR back to use on something else at Walgreens.

You should be able to print 2 of these. Either by using your back button (hit 2 or 3 times) or just by going here again and printing. FYI- sometimes it doesn't work though.

This is all natural cough syrup. Made from honey. Geared towards children 12 months and up. I tasted it myself and it was quite yummy.

I am hoping I can buy 3 of these for my son. I know we will be going through loads of this stuff this coming winter. Last winter is was ridiculously cold for this area and I am scared it will be that way again. We don't have heat and space heaters use up too many watts(or something) and pop my circuits. Have I mentioned how much I hate this place? lol

Crystal Mineral Salt Deodorant on Sale at Walgreens and Rite Aid

Crystal deodorant products will be on sale at Rite Aid and Walgreens at $1 off for the Stick and $.50 off for the Roll-Ons and Spray until the 23rd of this month (Saturday).

Did you know that one stick of this deodorant can last up to an entire year! Can you imagine how much money you can save per year if you buy this? I am definitely going to be checking this deodorant out this week. I personally like the fact that it is a natural product and not made out of chemicals like other deodorants.

It actually prevents body odor with it's mineral salts. The mineral salts create an invisible layer that prevents odor causing bacteria to grow. It doesn't stain your clothes or leave a white residue! I have plenty of clothes that have been ruined from deodorant and underarm stains. :(

It is cruelty free and environmentally safe. They are clinically tested and hypoallergenic.

They don't contain any of the following:
aluminum chlorohydrate
aluminum zirconium
parabens
phthalates
dyes

Crystal offers two lines of natural deodorants:

• Unscented Crystal Body Deodorant Stick, Roll-On, Spray and original Rock (aka deodorant stone). Made with all natural mineral salts.

• Lightly scented Crystal essence Pomegranate, Lavender & White Tea and Chamomile & Green Tea– Roll-On and Spray. All natural mineral salts infused with natural essential natural oils and extracts.

You can find Crystal Body Deodorant and Crystal essence in 28,000 stores worldwide, including Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid and Whole Foods.

*This post was part of a One2One Network promotion. See my Disclosure Policy for more details.

CVS

This is what I bought today:
3 Kleenex @ .97 cents each = $2.91

3 Nivea Lip Balm @ .99 cents each = $2.97

Counting Led Bank .97 cents (clearance)

Transformers Cars $1.29 (clearance)

Speed Racer Car .29 cents (clearance)

CVS Sanitizing Pen $1.99

5 piece Freeze and Serve $1.99 (clearance)

Total before coupons = $12.41

Coupons and ecbs I used:

.50 cents off 3 Kleenex

$2.00 off 2 Nivea

$1.00 Nivea

$1.99 off CVS Sanitizing Pen

New Total = $6.79 Way, way more than I normally spend at CVS!!!

Things didn't ring up correctly though. :( Nivea rang up at various prices up to $3.19. So I had to go and get the fish bowl that they were in. This is the only CVS I have found them in a fish bowl with the price of .99 cents. Every other CVS charges the normal price. No clue as to why this CVS charges less. Last time at this particular store they rung up at .99 cents this time they rung up buy 1 get 1 50% off and the price was $3.19.

Today's Stuff

I realized I had a $3RR that expired today so I went to Walgreens and bought the following:

Blistex $2.59
Sesame Street Halloween Coloring Book .59 cents

I paid .23 cents for both after the $3RR and received a $2.60RR back.

Photo later.

I went and did some much needed laundry only to discover that either the one dryer did not work or someone took my stuff out and put theirs in to use up my $1. Which meant I had to use 50 cents to somewhat dry them (which means they were still wet). But I didn't have anymore money on me. :(

I hate going to the laundry mat. It skeeves me big time!

I watched the movie Twilight New Moon. I am not a Twilight fan but I could not find any other movie to rent. Use Blockbuster Express code : MNDY1 for a free rental today. It was an o.k. movie. But Jacob's very bad weave or wig annoyed me. Same goes with the jean shorts and no shirt look. Very annoying. lol

Right now I am choking on the Freebreeze that I used in my bedroom. My place gets so moldy and gross. I hate living here. :( It's damp and dark in here all the time. Kind of like living in a cave. Really it's that awesome! lol
