**I also have a $4RR leftover to use at a later time.

Not in the picture : 1 pencil, 2 small magnetic frames, 1 folder and 1 pack of paper plates. Bayer is open because I used one. Click photo to make bigger.

The stamps alone would have cost (this if they were just regular and not photo) $26.40. But since they are photo stamps the actual cost would be $21.97 for each 20 stamps making the 3 packs $65.91!!!!! So as you can tell I did really, really good even though I went over my allowed budget for these deals. I had originally told myself that I would spend no more than $7 with tax for all the above transactions. But I ended up buying the Super Glue $1.99 and the 3 Photo Stamps $3 which made my total higher than planned. But hey, you can't pass up paying 5 cents a stamp!! I will have to do a search later on and see when stamps only cost 5 cents.

I have tried a few of them myself and have really enjoyed them. I haven't tried them frozen yet but plan to buy some more on Monday when I go to the grocery store. It's About Time!! Walgreens Official Coupon Policy!!!

Yes, you read that correctly Walgreens now has an official coupon policy! Whoo Hoo!!!

You can go here and read it and print it for future reference (keep in your coupon binder so when you go to Wags you can whip it out if necessary!).

Coupon Policies :

Target

For CVS's policy you should contact customer service at CVS and they can email it to you. I could not find a link on their website but they have emailed me and numerous others the policy. I will probably post it here shortly.

Update on Target and Coupons

Here is an follow up on the video and article from WCCO about Target and coupons not working properly.

I am so happy about these articles and videos. I would have to think that Target will have to do something about this ordeal and soon. At least I hope so. :(

Today's CVS Trip

It seems like three times a charm. I had to go to 3 different stores to get what I needed this morning. But I was able to get everything I wanted and 2 other things for less than $5 so not too bad.

Here is what I purchased:

Blink Tears Gel $7.99
2 Listerine Zero @ $3.99 ea = $7.98
Dinosaur Egg $1.33 (these are super cute! I will be buying more to hold back for Easter)
CVS Allergy/Sinus Medicine 74 cents (on clearance)

Total before coupons/ecbs and taxes = $18.04

Coupons and ecbs I used:
$1 off Blink from Sunday Coupons Insert
$2 off Listerine Zero printable
$2 off Listerine Zero printable
$2 ECB
$2 ECB
$4.99 ECB

New total after coupons/ecbs and taxes = $4.63

ECBs I received = $7.99 Blink + $2 Listerine + $2 Listerine = $11.99!!!

Will post photo after batteries charge. Unfortunately I might not be able to add photos for a while. My camera works and lets me take photos but for some reason I can no longer upload them. I am trying to fix this issue and am also waiting for the rest of my giftcard codes from Swagbucks to buy a new camera.

Remember How I Told You to Watch Your Coupons at Target?

Remember how I told you to be very, very careful and to watch your coupons being scanned and double check your receipts at Target? Well, like I said this is nationwide and it finally made the news. I am soooooo happy that Amy Gunderson had the guts to contact her local news channel. You can read the article here (WCCO -Target Accused Of Not Giving Full Value On Coupons) and if you look at the right hand side of the page (of the article) you can click on the actual news video of it (click on the one showing coupons).

I really hope this gets resolved. I highly recommend everyone who has had these coupon issues to email/call Target's customer service.

Guitar Hero III for Wii only $12.50 at CVS

I saw it earlier on my trip to CVS and passed it up. Only to come home and keep thinking about it. I had $10.99 in ECBs and I am stocked up on just about everything that is a necessity and that I have room for. So I went back and bought it even though we currently do not own a Wii. Though I have to say I really want one bad! I am not a video game person at all but Wii looks super fun! I would love to have a Wii Fit. And I always thought that Guitar Hero seemed fun.

So hopefully, I can get a Wii in the next 4 to 6 months some how. I have been noticing that they are way cheaper now. Though too expensive for us.

Anyways check out your CVS to see is they have any on clearance. They were 75% off at my store.

I ended up paying $2.39 for it! Not too shabby!!

My 2nd CVS Shopping Trip

This was with my mother's card (she never shops here she is not savvy and frugal like me!).

3 Kotex Lightdays 20ct .31 cents each = .93 cents (yes, only 31 cents!)
CVS Hand Sanitizer $1.19

Total before coupons = $10.11
Used the following:
$1.50 off Blink printable from here
$5 ecb
$1.19 cvs hand sanitizer (this was on the bottom of a receipt)

New total after coupons and taxes = $2.57
Received $7.99 ECBS back from Blink

Update on Insomnia

I have still been only using the fake benadryl and melatonin that I purchased from Puritan's Pride. I am shocked that it is working. I have tried this mixture in the past with no such luck. I feel way better now that my prescription medicine is out of my system. I fall asleep faster and don't feel like a zombie in the morning. Yes, I am still tired and I wake up throughout the night but I am still sleeping better than I had been and it seems like a more natural sleep then a drug induced one.

I know with melatonin you are only supposed to use for a short while. Even on the bottle it says to take for no longer than 2 months and then take either a week or two break(I forget). So I will need to figure something out. But I am way happier feeling now. Very grateful that something is working for me. I can't wait to see how much my health changes in the next few months (for the positive).

Free 8x10 Today Only!!

Log into your Walgreens account and you add an 8x10 to your cart (no collages) and then you will see that you have a credit for an 8x10. Choose pick up at your store and it will be completely free.

This whole week they will have some sort of photo deal. I will try to post on here what each deal is.

It's time to start thinking about inexpensive Christmas gifts. An 8x10 of your child in a nice frame would make a nice gift for a grandparent to add to a gift bag of other items. Same goes with the free Kodak DVD movies that you hopefully got from CVS before.

I am going to start posting cheap items for Christmas gifts that I find. It will be here before we know it!! I like to get mine done with as soon as possible.

Pampers Points

Here is a list of Pampers Gifts to Grow points. It should give you a total of 534 points. These codes do expire but they seem to last way longer than the Huggies points. It does take a lot of points to redeem something but if you have to buy diapers and wipes you might as well get something back from them. Especially since now the Caregivers Market Place no longer offers cash back on Huggies products. Which is very upsetting! I figure I have close to a year on using Pull Ups maybe less if I get lucky and was looking forward to the 75 cents back per pack.

Pampers Gifts to Grow program has changed but they finally got their website working correctly. I recall when they first changed over I not only lost all my points (which they never gave me back) I also was unable to log in for 3 months straight. They also no longer charge shipping aside from Shutterfly items.

Get the FREE app today and make your voice heard on Facebook®.

Check with your mobile carrier, as data charges may apply.

I am sure some of you would and could totally take advantage of this. I only have one of those cheapy pay as you go phones that is about 7 years old so this won't work for me. I'm not a big phone talker anyways.

For me Vonage is cheaper than having a phone through my cable provider and way cheaper than having it through the phone company. I pay less to have internet through the cable company and my phone through Vonage then having them bundled. So you might want to check it out and see if Vonage is cheaper for you. I admit I am not saving a huge amount that way but I am saving some. Remember every dollar counts!! Also I have never had any issues with Vonage whereas I have had a ton of issues with my internet provider/cable company. They have been blaming my internet problems on my router (because it is not theirs and is from Vonage) which has been going on for close to a year and guess what??? It was their modem (the cable company's not Vonage). So needless to say I am not at all happy with them and am looking into getting a new internet provider. They finally fixed their mistake and brought me a new modem after me complaining for months and months.

**Also Vonage has an annual prepay for $269.99 which works out to be $22.50 a month! Not bad for unlimited phone use and free long distance. I think I am going to switch to that next year after I get my taxes back to save even more.

FYI - Watch Out When Using Coupons at Target

Most Targets have gotten new software in the past few months (not exactly sure when) and they will and should do the necessary adjusting of coupons that are worth more than the price of the item. But they are also sometimes adjusting other coupons that do not need adjusting. This has been happening all over the country. You can read about it on many online boards and blogs.

This has happened to me the last 3 times I have gone to Target. Which meant I had to get my coupons back and take them to Guest Services and stand in another line to get the situation fixed.

Here is what happened to me yesterday:

I bought the following items and used the following coupons (only listing items I used coupons with):
2 Bic Pens @ 99 cents each= $1.98 I used 1 Target $1 off of 2 and 1 Manufacture $1 off 2
3 Scotch Magic Tape @ 50 cents each = $1.50 used 1 $1 off 3 Manufacture

This is what happened:
Target coupon took off $1
Bic coupon took off 99 cents (should have only taken off 98 cents or Target coupon should have only taken off 99 cents)
Scotch coupon only took off 50 cents

As you can see I was shorted either 49 cents or 50 cents depending on how you look at it. I had other items that I bought so I did not catch it as everything was ringing up. But I did immediately look at my receipt and notice the mistake. I had to get back in line and get my coupons back and take to Guest Services and stand in another line and deal with a not so nice employee who took forever to "get it". I did get my money back for the coupon (50 cents). I even said I would be fine back with 49 cents since the one coupon did not adjust down (I always make sure I am super nice and honest when dealing with these issues).

Again this has happened 3 of the last 3 times I have gone to Target. So make sure you watch your coupons scan. I have read stories of how people have watched their coupons scan at 0. So be very careful. A good idea would be to bring a little notebook with you and as you are putting items in your cart and matching up coupons write down the coupon amount , the price of the item and what the item is so you can reference it. Also maybe even initial your coupons (so the cashier can easily find which ones are yours) and watch as they are being scanned. Yes, massive hassle but good idea to do until this gets fixed. I would also email customer service and let them know when you have issues so they see that this is countrywide.
